Heidi is an aspiring optimist and committed fantasist with a degree in Human Evolutionary Biology from Harvard University. She spends her days reading, writing, wrangling three cats and one child, and imagining backstories for everyone she encounters. Despite having witnessed some of humanity’s darker facets in a past life, Heidi believes that love truly can conquer all – if we let it.

Heidi Zuva’s lifelong love is story, in all its forms. She was born in South Africa to a German librarian and a Zimbabwean professor, and she lived there with her pet tortoise, imaginatively named Tortoise, for the first four years of her life.
From there, she moved around the midwestern United States before landing in Greensboro, NC for the bulk of her childhood. An aspiring witch and full-fledged nerd, she attended Phillips Exeter Academy as a scholarship kid, agog at the wealth surrounding her even as her family faced foreclosure during the ’08 housing crisis.
Entering her early adulthood with a deep fear of debt, she didn’t let her fulltime courseload at Harvard put her off of beginning a colorful work life the second she could legally (and not so legally) work. She graduated from Harvard with a degree in Human Evolutionary Biology in 2014, and no student debt.
Heidi worked as a sex worker, SAT tutor, print model, promotional model, commercial model, television actor (small roles), ghostwriter, and as a generalist at a couple tech startups. She has apprenticed in a Swiss-German restaurant kitchen and completed a nursing practicum in a German ICU.
Heidi’s career trajectory really doesn’t make any sense, unless you consider her main interest: people and their stories. In and out of her clothes, she’s always been deeply interested in human motivation, loneliness, and the parts of ourselves that we don’t share. Frankly, she’s a nosy bitch.
Heidi now lives a quiet life in London with a husband she loves an embarrassing amount and a five year old whose smile makes the sun rise. They have three cats and she’s always mixing up some potion or other (some may call it dinner, some may call it a hex) so basically she managed to become a witch after all.
Wonderfully, it is not yet The End.

Runako Moyo is one of NYC's top high-end escorts. To reach the apex of her career, however, she'll have to snag a whale client.
Enter: billionaire bad boy Ezra Gold.
Ezra offers Runako a high stakes: if she can keep his interest for one year, she walks with ten million dollars.
Runako accepts, entering the secluded, 50s-esque world of Ezra's remote Montana compound - where she's not the only one who's playing the game.
Worst of all, the stakes have shifted: Ezra is brewing a dangerous new technology, and it could mean the end of not only Runako, but life as we know it.

TROPHIES is Anora x 'The Stepford Wives.'
Runako Moyo, alias Cleo Noir, is one of NYC's top Black high-end escorts. In an industry still more racist and sizeist than even fashion, she's managed to sculpt herself into what her clients want. But when a seemingly-chance meet in a bar throws tech billionaire Ezra Gold into her path, she has an opportunity to make so much money that she can leave any sort of conforming behind.
Runako takes the deal, allowing Ezra to whisk her away to a compound in the American midwest. She's cut off from the world and technology, living amongst a group of trad girlfriends. When a little friendly competition among the women leads Runako into the woods surrounding the compound, she realizes Ezra is developing a dangerous technology. She'll have to overcome her lone wolf nature and her prejudices against 'soft' women with both their own lives and the future of womankind at stake.
WIFEMAXXING is weird girl lit with a speculative twist. It combines the matter-of-fact approach to sex work in ‘Margo's Got Money Troubles’ with the exploration of how technology and women's issues intersect in ‘Annie Bot.’ Though it gets dark, there's a hopeful undercurrent and themes of found family, self-definition, and what makes a good life.
